After learning that a gang of thugs are planning to rob his sister, Kiryu goes to their hideout to face them alone. Sakura quickly catches up, and the two join forces to take down the gang! As Sakura's bonds with his classmates grow stronger, he becomes painfully aware of how far he still has to go, especially after watching Umemiya's fight during the last battle. In the midst of his mental struggle, Sakura accepts an invitation from Togame to attend a summer festival. While the two bond, Sakura's former rival gives him the push he needs to keep fighting.
